BravoDoc Request a pilot

Investor overviewBravoDoc by Bravo Integrated Solutions

Engineering documents are still cross-checked by hand. BravoDoc turns that into software.

An AI validator that reads a whole document package — Design Basis, specifications, drawings, lists — and reports every place where the documents disagree. The prototype works, and the demo is public.

The problem

Every engineering project runs on documents that have to agree. Checking that they do is manual.

A package runs to hundreds of documents, each citing others by number, revision, standard and value. When one changes, the rest have to be checked by people reading line by line — and what slips through is found on site, as rework.

21%

of project cost goes on avoidable error, on average, in UK construction. Poor and late design information is among the leading causes. Get It Right Initiative, research 2015–16

56%

of engineers’ working time is spent finding, receiving and handling information, rather than on the engineering it feeds. Robinson, J. Am. Soc. Inf. Sci. Technol., 2010

The product, today

It works, and anyone can try it.

The validation core reads PDF and Word, extracts document numbers, revisions, standards, quantities and rated values, and cross-checks them across the whole set. The public demo runs those checks in the visitor’s browser on their own files.

  • Missing documents — cited, but not in the package
  • Outdated revisions — Rev 2 cited where Rev 3 is current
  • Standards cited in two editions
  • Quantities that differ between a list and a drawing
  • Design values that differ between documents

Why now, why us

The reading is now possible. The access is the hard part.

  • 01

Software can now read technical language

Language models and OCR read specifications and drawings well enough to extract what has to agree.

  • 02

    Packages are already digital

Design Bases, specifications and lists are issued as PDF and Word. The input exists; nobody checks it as a whole.

  • 03

    Built from inside engineering projects

Bravo Integrated Solutions works in engineering and industrial projects. BravoDoc comes from a problem its own teams meet, and is tested on the documents they work with.

How it grows

From one partner’s documents to a platform.

  1. Stage 1 · Co-development

    A launch partner

Early access, a version tailored to their documents and standards, and the choice of shared IP or exclusive use. BravoDoc gains real packages to learn from.

  2. Stage 2 · Pilots

    Real data, measured

Cross-document validation and custom rules, piloted on live projects, with the time saved measured against the manual check.

  3. Stage 3 · Platform

    Enterprise SaaS

A full platform with integrations into document systems and models that learn from each project, for wider rollout.

On the roadmap

  • ACross-checks between Design Basis, philosophies and specifications
  • BConsistency checks in text, tables and drawings, with OCR
  • CA standards matrix with version tracking
  • DA machine-readable Design Basis with unified limits and safety margins
